Seitoku
勢得
Seitoku pairs thick, chewy noodles with a rich tonkotsu-and-seafood dipping broth. Add a raw egg or finish with soup-wari to enjoy the bowl your way. The restaurant serves lunch only and accepts cash only.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Seitoku’s tsukemen is a good choice for anyone who wants to savour the noodles as much as the dipping broth. Thick noodles with plenty of bite are served with a rich broth combining tonkotsu and other animal-based stock with seafood. Diners have remarked on the noodles’ springy texture, which holds up well to the deep flavours for a satisfying lunch. One review also noted the aroma of shrimp oil, adding another layer to the tonkotsu-and-seafood richness.
You can also order a raw egg with the noodles. One diner enjoyed coating the noodles in egg before eating them with the dipping broth, a different approach from dipping each bite directly into the broth. Soup-wari is another option after the meal: add it to the remaining broth if you’d like to savour it to the last drop. Ramen is also on the menu, offering a different way to enjoy a rich soup. One person who tried the tsukemen said they chose ramen on a later visit.
Seitoku is open from 11:00 to 14:30, and is closed on Mondays. Reservations are not accepted, and payment is cash only.
